Also, the ferrules on the GX922's never did stay put (they slide up and down the shaft at will it seems).
I've played about twice as many rounds with my my Adams A7OS irons as I did with my PowerMax G922 irons, and I'm just now starting to see the same amount of wear on the club faces.
The only other downside is that I think the clubs may have a durability issue. But that is a discussion for another thread. I think it's a bit silly that they try to make some of their clubs look so much like major OEM models - Giga Golf could get by just fine without such tactics, IMO.
They have enthusiastic and helpful customer service, and I think it's great that you can get custom-ordered clubs inexpensively. I think that with any new clubs you should expect some experimenting with grip, stance, swing plane, etc.My experience with Giga Golf was fairly positive. I do think that the low center of gravity is very helpful. so this is a good club if you like the appearance and the swingweight. I personally don't think that they are a totally forgiving club. The point is they are equal to or better than my previous irons if I do my job of hitting them correctly. I did change my stance to a slightly less upright one also. The ball flight was indeed higher than my older irons with approximately the same distance. Suprise Suprise! Shot three over par on the front and a total respectable score of 85 on a very challenging narrow and long course. I decided to play a round with the new grips and not change the lie at this time. It checked out that the lie should be increased by +2 degrees. Went to local golf shop and had new mid-size grips put on and checked the lie of the irons. Was doing things that never did with old irons. Hit maybe one good shot every 4-5 hits with each iron. The first few times on the course and at the range were very disappointing. Ordered stiff shafts with standard tour wrap grips. Purchased the PFD irons on-line for a reasonable price. Was getting tired of looking at my Killer Strikers (King Cobra) irons for the last 8 years - so time for a new set of irons.
